An independent app for every music festival where attendees can collect GreenGroove points by making sustainable choices and actions, collectively reducing the impact while being rewarded. The collected GreenGroove points are a local currency at the festival, which can be used at food, beverage, and merch stands. GreenGroove not only rewards attendees and helps festivals to be more sustainable, but it also offers educational content, waste sorting guidance and awareness material both within the app and across the festival site to everyone. The key is to make sustainability collectively rewarding and fun while educating attendees and spreading awareness. 

The GreenGroove platform offers a comprehensive guide on how users can accumulate and utilise their GreenGroove points, including detailed insights into their point-earning and spending activities. It features a public leaderboard that displays individual scores and ranks the top 30 users, fostering a competitive yet collaborative environment.

Additionally, the platform provides analytics on vegetarian and vegan food consumption and tracks the return rate of hard goods purchased at the festival. Users receive tailored educational content about environmental practices, which varies depending on the specific festival they are attending. There’s also extensive information about GreenGroove’s mission and the broader environmental impact of music festivals.
